A place for people to learn about computer systems together.
Computer systems are the building blocks of applications and the fabric that ties them together. Databases, networks, compilers, distributed algorithms, virtualization, programming languages, etc.
We meet weekly in Boston. Every two weeks, we pick a different topic in computer systems, read about it, and work on projects in that area.
No expertise required, we're here to learn together!

How do large-scale systems allocate resources, schedule tasks, and scale workloads?
Note: Reading group on 01-25 was postponed due to a winter storm.
Containers let us run and distribute applications. How do they work under the hood?
Note: This is a shorter, one week topic while we're figuring out the right format.
